The woman was too frightened to return home for fear of attack. "I feel everyone will look at me and link me with terrorism. I feel people will see me and no longer regard me as innocent. I cannot go back home, I don't know where to go."
Thats a shame. I think people should be vigilant, but to make somebody this fearful (on what I am assuming is cultural or ethnic difference) is wrong.If anything, more effort needs to be made to understand the culture as opposed to rooting it out.Unless the person has a bomb strapped to their chest, or they are preaching hatred and harm of the UK, nobody deserves to be intimidated.
This is merely an example. It's not an exception.
The examples have been on the increase as of late...
