"Many of the people who are drawn to these movements are not people who are looking for some sort of Taliban lifestyle, they're people who are actually motivated because they support some kind of insurgency about the way the West is dealing with the Middle East, and they feel the Middle East is utterly humiliated. The Middle East people are utterly humiliated by the West and the Western policies. And this is the response they seek. It's an appalling response, but I think to understand it, you’ve got to understand it goes a lot further than simply a kind of revulsion against the Western way of life."

Roots of terror
This is an explanation, not a justification. What is needed to prevent these attacks against 'us' is rational explanation, not emotional justification. Those who resort to emotional justification, are not interested in fighting terror. Terror breeds terror.
what fark is this one who cannot read or write for your father, for your father?
RépondreSupprimerhave they really? I wasn't aware of that? You should really come more often, and enlighten me.
RépondreSupprimerEhhhh....What was that ghastly noise?
RépondreSupprimerJez, you don't so much as speak the English language as you chew it up and spit it out.
Victory is Mine!
Well, if you're hoping to convince people you're not very good at it.
RépondreSupprimerJust dropped by. Great page :)
RépondreSupprimerWow, eeore, you really are full of hate. Well, this self-hating jew says get a life! The State of Israel is just another undemocratic state, by definition. How can the 'jewish state' be any more democratic than the 'Islamic Republic of Iran'? Yes I know that Israel isn't officially called the 'jewish state', but what is it if not that?
RépondreSupprimerYou can call me a looney leftie or whatever other insult you mange to throw up, but the obvious fact is, that we will never know peace until there ceases to be hate ON ALL SIDES. If you can't accept that, I can only assume you are not interested in peace.
A note: Israel has far more power than the Palestinians, plus the support of the world's biggest military, which allows it to make the first move, and also makes the claim of some, that the Arabs want to drive Israelis into the sea, laughable at best.
" what fark is this one who cannot read or write for your father, for your father?"
RépondreSupprimerWTF? Is this supposed to hold some meaning?
"Meh...."
Mad sheep disease?
"that's what they would like to believe..."
"They?" Who are they? The comment posted is itself hardly controversial. At least it isn't to anyone familiar with the political and financial dealings of the West in the Middle East. You are the guy who loves to tell people to look up things. Look up SAMA.
"Jez, you don't so much as speak the English language as you chew it up and spit it out.
"Victory is Mine!"
Huh? Referring to what? And coming from someone who wrote "I was a Combat Engineer and my primary job was to blow up anything that go in the way our Army advancing..."
"btw I have replied to your latest diatribe."
Be more honest. You have deleted the entire page is what you have done. And just before you did (I was logged in at the time) you told Jez that if he makes any more comments on your blog, you'll delete them.
The points on the Middle East have been addressed above.
Run, boy! Run!
