The Minister of Not Working Very Hard is jet lagged. I'm currently sitting in the living room of my first project. The house is going up on the market this summer and I'll be making some recommendations to improve its energy efficiency and make it more sustainable. I've already had one exciting idea for the house: a grey water fed greenhouse. The green house would butt up against the east end of the house making a sacrificial wall which would improve the R value of that portion of the house. It would also open up the possibility of fresh food (even tropical fruits) year round.
There are many constraints with this design, but those constraints are a focal point I can design around for improving the property. I'm very excited about this one, and it's not even my primary project.
